We found out we weren't going anywhere. Even though we had moved about 200m early in the morning.
We went for breakfast and went back to bed for a few hours. It was Sunday, after all.
After lunch, Kjell, Liz, Tom and Dave went back into town.
After two days on the boat we realised we wouldn't be getting much movement for the next 10 days, so they went for a walk while they still could.
The plan was to set off for Montoir de Bretagne at 2am Monday morning.
The rest of us stayed on board and had a relaxed day of reading, writing and playing games.
I took some pictures of the harbour, as this was the view we'd enjoyed for 3 full days.
Everyone was back on board for dinner, and after dinner, there was some more story telling. And we watched the loading and unloading of more containers.
Afterwards the men played poker and the ladies watched the first half of Mutiny on the Bounty.
Everyone was trying to stay up for the departure, but most of us failed.
Kjell, Kieran, Tom and Alex lasted long enough to see our boat leave the harbour. Just leaving the harbour took two hours.
This is the movement of the boat in the port of Le Havre:
