Surprises

I have a variety of photographs I could post here, but I don't want to spoil the fun for those who will come and see our show next week.
So all I will say is that the space here inspired us to do some things slightly differently here. Not like at the Junction, and certainly not like at the Lyric.

Because we did rehearse, and we did change some things.

In the evening we all had dinner together, as Marie had to leave the next morning to make other important design decisions. We tried very hard to convince her to stay, we threatened to steal her passport, we thought about kidnapping her. But in the end we had to let her go. She left us detailed instruction of how to finalise the details of the set.

After dinner, the computers came out and old photographs or movies were dished up. Nadja was in London and just got a brand-new aquarium, so everyone watched as she showed us on Skype. Modern technology is not alien to us...

And the modern technology carried on as the boys started massaging each other.

I think they needed it.
